PROS: Big apartment, with spacious bedrooms and living room; large fridge; good water pressure and hot water; raised terrace with outdoor seating; stable wifi in most areas; nice landscaped garden with clean and well-maintained swimming pool; Good location- 5-8 minute drive to Alona town/ beach; 7-10-minute walk to the main road; quiet area; Free shuttle (twice a day to go to Alona town) CONS: Weak AC in both bedrooms, no AC in the living room, just a ceiling fan (it gets hot in the apartment); Despite showerhead filter the water quality is very questionable. Very old gas stove with no gas; No clear mirrors in the whole apartment; Old leather sofa - uneven and uncomfortable to sit on; TV -not working at all (not connected/setup); ants in the kitchen area- so we left the trash bin outside; Customer service was average - some of the staff are more friendly and attentive but housekeeping staff not cleaning every day as stated and not thorough. We had to repeatedly ask to restock essential/complimentary items and request housekeeping to clean the room (the room was cleaned twice only during our 7-day stay); Guests next door were having a rave and blasting their music loudly and paid for girls from outside (despite this being prohibited by the rules)- first night they partied until 3.30am, second night they partied until 1am! No decisive action was taken by the management despite problems caused to other guests. On the 2nd night my husband informed the management and had to go and tell the guests to turn down their music; they disrespectfully carried on for another 3 hours! The management apologised but did not effectively enforce their own rules; their island hopping tours are very expensive comparatively - but you can rent their snorkeling equipment at a very good price though (at php99 for a snorkel mask and a vest- which would normally cost 150 outside); Belles Homes is Chinese owned and more popular with Chinese guests. Foreigners may feel more comfortable elsewhere, however we found staff friendly and were warmly welcomed with a bottle of coconut rum. There was some construction going on but the noise was not disruptive.

We book a 3 bedroom villa With breakfast for 2night and they havent notified us hat it was not available. We only knew it upon arrival. The room they provided seems already uswd by someone. Bathroom is not clean. we informed the night staff that we are going out very early and we can't join breakfast. We asked them if they could serve it early or we will have it after our island hopping. but to our dismay they did not give our breakfast as they are pointing out that breakfast are only be serve between 7-10 am. very bad customer service. not satisfied
