It's a great place to retreat. Pool is not private, but shared with another cottage. Comfortable beds and they have good staff. Don't speak good English, but still they welcome you well. Also there are a lot of small tourist places, Wat, markets around. People of the village is very welcoming, No much tourist, clean air and happy villagers

The room honestly wasn’t quite what I expected from the photos online. It felt quite damp and uninviting, and the bathroom was dull and dimly lit, which made the whole place feel a little neglected. If you decide to eat in the room, do not leave your plates there, the ants will come. The room was already full of ants when I arrived. They were also walking all over my clothes in the closet. The bed was fairly clean, but not clean enough. There were also quite a few geckos around, with gecko droppings coming down from the ceiling, and they made quite a lot of noise during the night. There were insects on the bed as well, which made me feel itchy and made it very difficult to sleep. When you order food, bare in mind that you will be charged for the staff to bring it to your room. On the positive side, the room itself was tidy, and the housekeeping staff clearly do their best to keep things clean despite the overall condition of the property. Getting to the room was also quite a challenge, especially with heavy luggage, as the path leading up is very steep. I do not recommend old people to climb the steep path to the rooms. Thankfully, the staff were friendly and helpful and offered to transport my luggage on a scooter which was a really thoughtful gesture and definitely helped. The view from the room overlooks the river, and while it is nice, it honestly didn’t look as impressive as the photos online made it seem. Overall, I feel the property is quite overrated for the price and the expectations created by the photos. I think with some proper renovation and better maintenance, it could be a really lovely place, but in its current condition, it unfortunately falls short of what I expected.
