Located in the original Sunmor Estates neighborhood in central Palm Springs, this renovated Palmer & Krisel home was built in 1958 and has been renovated to give you a true Mid-Century Modern experience. Offering 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths, the home offers a larger than normal interior living space with 1,656 square feet that includes a bonus den/TV room with separate powder room.
An open floor plan offers casual living and easy indoor/outdoor entertaining with an island kitchen and dining for up to 6, large living room with vaulted ceilings, polished concrete floors, a trademark Alexander (sadly, non-functioning) stone fireplace, large flat screen Smart TV, Junior Baby Grand piano with walls of glass and two sets of sliders to an amazing backyard. The home's televisions offer Roku service for cable and streaming access for Netflix, Hulu, etc.
The bedrooms consist of a primary suite with queen bed, en-suite bathroom (shower/tub combo) with extra pillows and blanket and slider patio access to the back yard. The first guest bedroom has two twin beds and the second guest bedroom has a full size bed. The two guest bedrooms share the hall bath that features a step-down shower.
The amazing West-facing back yard offers incredible views of the San Jacinto Mountains. An outside shower is located just outside of the slider access to the den/TV room. On one side of the back yard you can enjoy a full built-in, natural gas grill with concrete countertop bar-height seating for 3 or dine al fresco at the outdoor dining table that will sit 6-8. On the cooler Winter evenings, snuggle close to the outdoor fire pit with additional seating. The large swimmer's pool has been newly resurfaced and tiled and is perfect for laps or just floating your cares away. On the other side of the yard, enjoy a soak in the above ground spa. You can also take time to center and focus in the separate, enclosed yoga/fitness hut. Enjoy the enchanted Palm Springs lifestyle and return home restored after your trip to PS Charmed.
Sunmor is a great residential neighborhood rich with architectural history. Centrally located the “wind-free” zone, less than 2 miles to downtown Palm Springs. Minutes from the Palm Springs airport and dining. Beautiful mid-century homes all around the bike-friendly, walkable neighborhood. View the Tram Station light at night from the backyard. The owner(s) like to stress this home is ideal for a dream vacation and relaxation but is by no means a “party-central” home. Each guest is expected be as good a neighbor as the owner(s) themselves. Special events like weddings are NOT allowed.

- Per City ordinance, we are required to have your ID on file. After booking, we will request an picture of the front of your ID.
- Per City ordinance, you must be 25 years of age or older to rent this home.
- Pool Heat is optional but available for $69/day; usually appropriate to heat the pool mid-October to late June. Some advertising platforms will have us add pool heat after booking. Feel free to confirm as necessary.

We had a fabulous time at PS Charmed. It was so clean, welcoming, and had all the different spaces we were hoping for (and more!). The outdoor bbq, pool, office space, kitchen living room, and the fireplace made the cool evenings cozy. The flow of the space and energy was exactly what we needed for a restful and relaxing vacation - and bonus we got to bring our dog, too! Craig, our host, went above and beyond making sure we were comfortable and answered all the random questions we had. The communication was the best I’ve had with a rental and we definitely plan to return again.

The house was exactly as pictured, very comfortable and well appointed. Backyard is an oasis with pool, hot tub, yoga studio, and awesome outdoor kitchen. The team at Relax Palm Springs was fantastic and the process was seamless.

We had a relaxing and enjoyable time in the pool and outdoor space with our family. It was very hot and we spent most of our days in the pool. The outdoor kitchen also worked very well, and we used the grill almost daily. The A/C in the house kept up even on some 120+ degree days! The location of the house provided easy access to groceries, restaurants and local attractions. The location is on a fairly busy road, which wasn't really noticeable, but something to be aware of if you are sensitive to traffic noise or have a dog that likes to bolt out the front door! The road noise in the back yard and pool area is audible, but not something we found to be at all an issue. All in all an A+ experience!

The property was overall as per the advertising. The problem was with the lack of gardening in the back yard. Large yellow flower parkinsonia trees (not shown in the advertisement). These trees drop incredible amounts of flowers on the ground that never got cleaned up. The sap then sticks to your feet and tracks in the house. The hot tub and one toilet were reported to have problems that no one tended to. Would not return.
