    Strong smell of cigarettes and damp in the room. Outside/balcony door broken, bathroom door broken, lamp not working, shower taped up, seal coming off shower, peeling wallpaper. Stayed one night and checked out with 3 nights remaining. Hotel staff do not speak English. Agoda customer service unhelpful

    I reached the hotel for check in,they told they have a leakage in my room and no place for me to stay, then they wanted to gove me a room in a neighbor hotel which was very bad. After alot of debate they agreed to give me my money back but i had to go around and ask for vacancies which was hard to find a roomin the last minute to stay in

    Location: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The location is definitely the best thing about this hotel. The T1 tram station (Aksaray) is literally right in front of the hotel, and Yenikapı Marmaray station is around a 10-minute walk away. There’s also a local market nearby and a pharmacy right on the corner, so everything you might need is very convenient. Staff & service: ⭐⭐ The reception staff were friendly, polite, and helpful whenever we needed anything. Unfortunately, I can’t say the same about housekeeping. The floor was not cleaned or mopped even once during our 7-night stay, and I honestly doubt that the bed sheets were changed. This was quite disappointing. Room: ⭐ The room itself was spacious, and being on the 6th floor meant we had a nice view. However, there was a very unpleasant smell coming from the bathroom throughout our stay. The bathroom door is a heavy sliding door, and the track was broken, making it difficult to open and close. Breakfast: ⭐⭐ Very limited and, in my opinion, below average. There wasn’t much variety, especially considering we stayed for 7 nights. Overall: The hotel has an excellent location and friendly reception staff, but the housekeeping, bathroom condition, and breakfast really need improvement. For me, the location is the main reason to consider this hotel, but there are several areas that could be much better.
