I was very affordable, so am not going to complain too much. It's a budget hotel with old style Victorian charm. On the plus side the person at check in was super friendly, warm and welcoming. The room was clean and on the surface seemed well maintained. I was happy with the hot water and the heating, which was a movable electric radiator. But maybe it wouldn't be warm enough if it is very cold. Towels were clean but frayed. The negatives were, free parking was advertised on the site I purchased from, but it is £5 per night. This is actually reasonable for Bournemouth, just not advertised on purchase. The net curtains were torn, TV in the room didn't work, neither did the plug in charger by the bed. I only realised quite late and was leaving early in the morning so did not bother. Perhaps they would have solved the issue if I had noticed earlier. Excellent location. It's not bad for the low price I paid but would not want to pay much more.

it is not a hotel you want to spend your holidays. Old, filthy, no flushing toilets, looks like whatever you touch might break, same with the pool. Over priced,! Breakfast is offered for 15£ per person per day.. I felt very uncomfortable in this hotel, sorry
