The Space:
Our private and spacious six-bedroom home is perfect for fans of great food, craft beer, pour-over coffee, and Portlandia vibes. Situated in a historic building in the heart of the eclectic NE Mississippi/Alberta District, you'll be steps away from Portland's top-rated restaurants, bars, and vintage shops.
Recently remodeled and tastefully furnished in true Portland fashion, this six-bedroom, two-bath duplex boasts unique charm, retaining many original features and woodwork from its century-old structure. Each side offers three bedrooms and one bathroom, but you can rent the entire building through this listing, making it ideal for families and large gatherings.
The cozy living rooms are bathed in natural light from new windows, providing a perfect spot to relax on the comfy couches. Rainy days are ideal for cuddling up and watching movies on the 50" LED flat-screen TVs. While we don't have cable, you'll have access to Netflix and blazing fast WiFi for streaming.
If you prefer to dine in, the two fully equipped kitchens feature new appliances and spacious farmhouse-style tables, perfect for hosting your crew. Plus, a Whole Foods is just a few blocks away for all your grocery needs.
After a day of walking, shopping, and dining, you'll love coming home to the super comfy queen-size beds in each of the six bedrooms. Guests will have the entire space to themselves, with lockbox key code access, providing ease, convenience, and privacy for coming and going as you please. The lockbox code will be provided via email prior to your arrival.

The Neighborhood:
Talk about location! This area is often referred to as Foodie Row. You are just a hop, skip, and a jump away from two of Portland's hottest streets, Alberta and MLK. The neighborhood is brimming with shops and restaurants where you can easily lose track of time. Youโll even find a unique coffee roaster inside a double-decker bus! If vintage shopping, lifestyle boutiques, and novelty gift shops are your thing, youโll need a couple of days to explore everything this vibrant neighborhood has to offer.
Getting Around:
๐ถ Walking โ This neighborhood offers easy access to nearby dining and shops along Alberta Street and the surrounding blocks. A pleasant, walkable area with a strong local feel.
๐ Bus โ Multiple TriMet bus lines serve the area, including Route 4 (Fessenden) on Williams/Vancouver and Route 24 (Fremont), with frequent service to downtown (~15 min).
