Railway Carriages

Lovely bungalow/cottage. Lots of space for the dogs to run around. Comfortable beds. Cozy definitely would recommend to stay there. Close to so much.

The shower. The noise from the road. The double room didn't have bedside tables or lights. Could of also done with a chair in double room.

We loved the character features of the property and the fire was a real bonus on one of the coldest few days in January. The garden and views to watch the trains going past were great.

We had an issue getting into the property but Chloe did come and assist us as soon as she could. We found the shower to be of very poor pressure and the bath a bit small.

Despite the train line at the bottom of the garden once you heard the first couple you didn’t notice any more. The area was quiet, secluded and in the summer I can imagine it would be really pretty. However the damp weather didn’t put us off and the low mist on Sunday morning just made the place more atmospheric. The fire was a massive bonus and we had enough wood and kindling for two evenings. The kitchen is well stocked, a set of kitchen scales may have been useful as we cooked for ourselves on the evenings we were there. The bedrooms are cosy, a couple of coat pegs for dressings gowns would be useful and I moved the small tall chest of drawers next to the bed so I could put a drink and alarm clock next to it. I made sure to move it back again when we left. All in all we had a lovely stay and would consider coming back again.

Not much to dislike since you can’t do much about the weather!
