We were told the original upstairs apartment we booked called Gem 3 was accidentally double booked, and we were given a downstairs apartment, called Gem 1 which was similar in layout. So actually this review is not for this listing - it is for Gem 1. The apartment was very conveniently located, and very comfortable. Appreciate that there were a generous amount of towels, blankets and bedding - lots of little details were thought of. Very clean which I really appreciate, and walking distance into downtown Willoughby was a big perk. It is a great apartment and I would consider to stay here again in the future. Kitchen was had just the right amount of appliances and the washer/dryer is a nice touch. Appreciate the generous seating as well as parking facilities available in both the front and the back of the house. Lovely old style home.
We would have preferred the original upstairs apartment on the chance there was any noise from above. Indeed it was noisy the 2nd night with some appliances running upstairs through the night. In any case, I would still stay in any of these apartments again. For the upstairs ones, you get probably a tad less noise, and for the downstairs ones, you get the bonus of not having to carry a bag upstairs.

The place is so comfortable and charming, thoughtfully decorated with excellent amenities! I kept finding towels and blankets everywhere so I never felt like I was in need of anything.
It looks like the floors aren’t deep cleaned often—I was cleaning up a spill of mine and the cloth came up with a lot more dirt than I had contributed. Everything else was great though!
