This house was nice and very comfortable for me and my fiancee. The kitchen was modern, clean, and beautiful, and had everything you could possibly need for your stay. The two bedrooms upstairs are very close to each other so not much privacy if two couples stay. The only bathroom was upstairs and it was doable. The sink was a little too small and washing your hands resulted in having a wet floor. The only supplies lacking were extra paper towels, bathroom tissue, and hand soap.The location of this property was excellent. You're a short 10 minute walk to downtown Willoughby that has many bars and restaurants. The area was safe and we never felt uncomfortable.

Everything about this perfect and stylish house was 100% on point! It's beautifully decorated and extremely cozy. For a family of four with two kids, it was the perfect fit for our stay. My wife grew up in Willoughby and this house reminded her of how wonderful this town is. The kitchen is spacious and has everything you need if you love to cook! The couch is extremely comfy and large enough to fit all four of us. We really appreciated having coffee supplied, and were able to enjoy a hot cup each morning on the adorable porch. The HVAC system worked amazingly well to fight off the hot Ohio humidity. The little touches, such as the small fans in each room, the hanging shelves for clothes, the motion lighting on the stairs, and the lovely stemware were very nice. The owners clearly have wonderful taste, putting this perfect and quaint house together. We will absolutely be back for another trip!

Cute old house redone. Could use a few safety issues done for us elderly people. The couch isn't very practical for sitting and watching tv.

7 night / 8 day stay - Positives: close walk to downtown, parking, inside trashcan was cool - but only one trash bag liner provided. Negatives: couch is just gross - material and shape; nice frig but ice maker does not work or is not turned on; 1 kitchen towel (8 day stay); 1 1/2 rolls of toilet paper (wow); no washer / dryer - too costly a place to not have them; walked in to kitchen blinds open and people camping in the backyard - shocking; no garbage disposal; no fan in spare bedroom; 4 bath towels (7 night stay - wow); TV pretty difficult to understand; front porch not usable per pictures on VRBO - windows painted shut so very stuffy room; no salt shaker. Issues: toilet seat plastic bolt sheared off - we purchased part and replaced it and left the spare parts on kitchen counter, and also informed host of the fix/repair. Suggestions: make a basket for entry with some helpful suggestions like where local laundry is, how to use the TV, a kind welcome note, make a snack and a couple bottles of water; Stackable washer/dryer in entry kitchen closet; Disposable to-go coffee cups with lids; More towels/linens for kitchen and bathroom; Ice trays PLEASE; Dish detergent; NEW COUCH. I rarely give other than a 5 for review. I would not stay in this house again for the above reasons. It has potential but seems the rental agency is not doing their job to make it a VRBO like vacation place.

House was very clean and well appointed. As advertised, it is a small, cute house. Would be tight to hang out with more than four people. Super easy access. Location is fabulous to walk into Willoughby.

Trash overflowing in outside cans terrible stench,one dish towel,rat baits set up throughout kitchen,4 threadbare bath towels, half rolls of toilet paper, one half roll of paper towels. Overall not clean. Had to spend the first few hours of vacation making house liveable. Expectation is for guests to clean I assume. Great location and neighborhood. Outdated old house with bare minimum. For the costs and cleaning fees, I expected a clean house with ample linens and bare necessity items. Older homes can be made more comfortable with upgraded linens and beds.

Just think about a small town next to a big city. Where you have a quaint downtown with all kinds of ma and pa stores. You can walk there. You also have a business area right near as well. The home was so inviting and warm. We were able to check in a little early since driving up from Florida was easier then expected. The rooms are cozy and great beds!! The kitchen was the most amazing one. It was big and everything you need. Except a potato peeler to which we donated s new one.

The property was very clean, the neighborhood was very well kept and the neighbors were very friendly (visited while I walked my dog). We had my cousins over for lunch and got a carry out from Chagrin River Diner in downtown and would highly recommend it. Only suggestion I would make is that safety bars be put in the shower area. The tub is deep and I think that would be a good addition. My dog who is months old (and house broken) learned to walk up the stairs and seemed to enjoy the lights that would accompany her as she walked up and down several times.

The location was the best easy access to everything including a short drive to downtown Cleveland Oh! Walk to restaurants and shops! We had the best walks with a our dog. The house was very cozy and clean. The main bed was listed as a queen but felt like a full size bed. Overall it was the best family vacations

Fabulous location within walking distance of the downtown shops and restaurants, with Lake Erie/Headlands Beach 20 minutes away. It was also just a short drive for us for our Cleveland destinations. The street is picturesque and quiet. Well furnished kitchen was a joy to cook in. The host was excellent and responded to our questions quickly. The decor is updated and elegant with a touch of whimsy. We would love to stay again when visiting the area.

Nicely updated and appointed home in a great location. Comfortable for 2 singles or 2 couples. Kitchen has large workspace, nice appliances, breakfast bar, and all the essentials: ample cookware, stone/glassware, pantry staples. Nice layout on the 1st floor. Upstairs bath is surprisingly generous size for this cozy house. Beds are comfortable with thoughtful touches here (multi-plug adapters, nightlights, closet accessories) as well as throughout the house. Added bonus for fitness buffs: you are 5 min away from the new, HUGE, superbly-equipped West End YMCA--definitely worth checking out! We'd stay again when in the area.

Beautiful home in a prime location. As a prior local to downtown Willoughby it was refreshing to have this option over finding a hotel outside of town. The house is quaintly updated and features all a small group or couple could need. It’s a plus that it is pet friendly and super comfortable overall. We can’t wait to stay there again and be in our home away from home.

We thoroughly enjoyed staying here! The house is completely remodeled and everything is nice and new. The living room is kind of small and the couch only holds 2 people, but it didn't concern us. The kitchen is huge and beautiful! I was a little worried about arriving because a snowstorm had hit the night before we arrived but they even had the drive plowed before we checked in! Super impressed by that! The neighborhood is nice and I felt perfectly safe while walking my dog. Overall, I would highly recommend this property!

Wonderful Downtown Willoughby House

We stayed in the house for 5 days while our floors were being refinished. The house has been recently renovated and very nice. All details have been thought out to make staying very comfortable for guests. Here are a few examples: the house has a built in beverage cooler in the kitchen which had some waters/soda. There are motion sensored lights in most rooms which help you navigate in the dark. There were dishes, soaps, towels, linens, and several other amenities for us to use. It was definitely thought out and put together well. It is also walking distance to downtown Willoughby, which was amazing... Thank you again!

We had such a great time did a lot of around the area! House was great but if you are 6feet tall bathroom is small and main bedroom bed was small for two adults. Loved everything else!
