Riverside Loft

The location was handy to the Hare and Copper where we were booked for dinner. The room was large and has a nice outlook, the bed was very comfortable, and it had a nice warm shower.

We were a bit surprised that the room was part of a family home (I may have missed this in the listing), but the host was really friendly. I’d suggest that an additional heater be added to the room for winter as it was quite chilly, but plenty of blankets were supplied.

Rebeca nos recebeu muito bem, ela e deu marido ofereceram um belíssimo café da manhã. O Riverside Loft é uma excelente opção para quem planeja fazer a travessia Tongariro Alpine Crossing.

Excellent stay. The hosts were very friendly in orienting us to the facilities and sharing their knowledge of the local area. The area is gorgeous, close to thermal activities, and up the road a bit from Tongariro National Park. The loft was very comfortable, overlooking fields of sheep and horses, with volcanic mounds in the distant. And to top it off, greeted with a very well laid out breakfast of fantastic options. Very highly recommend!

Ben è un ottimo ospite, molto gentile e ti fa sentire a casa. Al mattino offre colazione con bagel, latte, yogurt e cereali. E confetture fatte dalla moglie. Abbiamo potuto utilizzare la sua cucina per cucinarci la cena e il pranzo al sacco, così come la lavatrice. L'ingresso ed il parcheggio sono dedicati agli ospiti e la camera si trova al primo piano, salendo le scale subito appena entrati. Il resto della casa è dove abita Ben e la sua famiglia, ma è tutto molto silenzioso! La posizione è molto tranquilla, poco fuori il centro di Turangi che è comunque molto tranquillo

Ci sono 3 gatti abituati a girare per la cucina e a sedersi sulle sedie del tavolo dove si fa colazione. Non è stato un problema per noi, ma se non si amano i gatti sarebbe meglio segnalarne la presenza.
