Stunning Studio2, Banstead with free off st parking

Location was great and very quiet. Parking directly outside unit and easy access with cases.

The advert stated it had a skylight but we didn't realise from the pictures that it actually only had this and not a window! Fortunately, I had taken masks and the owner had supplied a fan. We messaged the owner and they were very responsive.

We stayed the studios as a family and were really impressed. Banstead itself is such a lovely spot, and the property makes it feel even more special — you come off the road onto a sweeping drive with secure double gates that open into beautifully kept gardens and the main residence. This particular studio had a remote-controlled skylight instead of a standard window. It keeps the room bright while giving you plenty of privacy — just worth noting that you don’t have a traditional view to look out on, but it still feels very cosy and welcoming. Everything you need is there: a proper kitchen (not just a kitchenette) with a washing machine, a stylish shower room, and a comfortable, well-thought-out layout. The off-street parking was a big plus too, so no need to worry about finding a spot on the road. What stood out to us was the mix of peace and convenience. It feels like a quiet, almost rural escape, yet Banstead High Street is only a short walk away with its coffee shops, Waitrose, Tesco and plenty of other handy places. By car, you’re quickly at Epsom, Sutton or Croydon, and even Ikea is only about 25 minutes away. Transport turned out to be simple as well. Trains from Banstead station aren’t too frequent, but Sutton station is nearby and easy to reach by the S1 bus in about 10 minutes. From there, you’ve got direct services into London Victoria and London Bridge, with both fast and slower options — ideal for a shopping day in the city.

Location in nice. Very quiet.

Apartment is small. We had a lot of luggage so we couldn’t fit in it. Cleaning service at low level . Spider net and huge spider on the window, dirty kitchen utensils and glasses. Mattress is too soft (personally for myself). Not enough air circulation due to window location (only in the roof). Washing machine was dirty inside. Kettle was sticky and dusty. Rusty shelf unit in the bathroom is inappropriate.
