Spacious Cotswolds House Garden with Hot Tub

Lovely spacious house. Cupboard space set aside in kitchen for guests groceries. Plenty of seating. Nicely laid out.

We had a few little issues, but the customer service team were fantastic & responded promptly. The property is not secure for pets though, needs a gate at the end of the drive.

Location was good. Hot tub was great! Patio was great (but we had to modify the umbrella so it didn't fall over in the breeze!) We enjoyed our stay, but.....

Not as spacious as described and photos are not current (looks better in the photos than actual - especially the very small 4th bedroom and the 'bar room' is shown empty which it is not). Kitchen photo is also old, as the wall has been removed and replace with a strange glass wall, hardly fixed in position! Some minor maintenance issues etc: Cooker Hood wasnt working Milk frother wasn't working Clothes drier only had 3 legs! Hedge overgrown along the long drive so scaped our car roof every time, and we had to duck getting out of the car! Dishwasher poor. No signage from the road, so finding the property was guesswork on arrival! Other issues/niggles (trying to be constructive here) Not enough towels. Only one set of towels for each of double rooms. Not enough for two people! (one large and one small) No hand towel provided for the kitchen. No bin in the kitchen! Fridge door handle missing. Sofa bed was made up for us, but was in the lounge, which doesnt work at all as the sofa is needed in the evenings! Strange Bar room (would have been better used as the sofa bed room) Ensuite newly refurbished but had no mirror at all, no towel rail and no loo roll holder! Mirror in family bathroom was unusable (too high for some and hanging on a rope...) Main bedroom double bed mattress was poor. Internet connection went into snail mode and needed a router reset to get back to satisfactory speed. Creaky stairs (noisy if anyone is sleeping!)

The instructions helped a lot! The place is slightly hidden so this helped a lot. They did have toilet paper, towels and washing up liquid / cleaning stuff - which makes a huge difference!!! The garden is just stunning, the hot tub is a real treat! The privacy of the property is a god send. Great location to access the main villages / towns of the cotswolds each way. The hosts are available by message - on here, which is very convenient. Parking is available for multiple cars which was much needed for us as 10 of us stayed here with 2 children. Really apt for unloading the shopping also.

The stove can take a while to cook things unfortunately but you can use the oven and grill to speed things up.
