The design of the room was very clean and minimal, it was comfortable as well

Facilities and room were of a superior standard (once I could access them).

Communication with the owner about accessing the property and paying them cash was confusing to say the least. Rather than settle it prior to a long bus journey (I explained prior that I would have limited internet and no wifi), instead I was left outside the property for 90 minutes expecting to meet someone to pay and let me in. The owner had changed their mind and had sent me an access code instead.. but I had no way of knowing until I eventually found some free wifi. I did provide regular updates as to my arrival time via wifi at stops along the way. On arrival the owner was unable to be contacted via phone or messaging when I arrived (I even asked Booking.com to try contact them). As it turns out a relative lives downstairs, so had that been explained upfront it could have been a simple solution. After an uncomfortable 36 hour bus journey I just wanted to get into the apartment, showered and to get settled. No apology was ever offered. This was an extremely frustrating start to my time in Da Nang but once that the initial accesswas sorted there were zero issues with the stay.
