Splendide appartement au cœur du centre historique

Fabulous location in the midst of the old town. Pedestrian only access. Beautiful contemporary apartment within an historic building. Thoughtfully curated. The 8am bells of Eglise du Saint-Esprit. Aircon.

Aircon in the second bedroom was makeshift and ineffective making this room quite hot.

Ein sehr schönes, toll eingerichtetes Apartment mitten in der Innenstadt. Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit. Wer gerne mittendrin wohnt und trotzdem eine kleine Oase braucht, ist hier genau richtig.

Die Unterkunft ist großartig. Man muss nur wissen, dass das Parkhaus nicht weit aber ein Stück entfernt ist und man nicht direkt vor dem Apartment parken/halten kann. Sein Gepäck muss man dementsprechend ein paar Meter dorthin bringen.

We stayed for six days in this brilliant apartment. Spacious, clean, comfortable, current interior, well equipped and with character. Best possible location, very quite but still everything within 3 minutes distance.

A very minor quibble - some additional storage space for clothes would not had gone astray.

The apartment is in the centre of the old town. It is spacious and beautifully decorated. Bed was exceptionally comfortable as were the pillows. There are all the facilities you would need. Cooking facilities and equipment available. Supermarket 5 minutes away, other food shops on the doorstep. The apartment does not have a balcony. However, it does have windows on both sides of the sitting/dining area so on the times we ate in, we opened the windows and felt like we were outside. There is air conditioning but it was 30 degrees plus when we were there and the apartment remained cool without the Aircon. The apartment is 5 minutes walk from the Rotonde taxi rank and 15 minute flat walk from the bus station where you can take the A2 bus to and from Marseille airport and the TGV station at a fraction of a taxi fare. Very good restaurants and takeaway food nearby. The main thoroughfare Cours Mirabeau is 5 minutes away. Although the area is lively, the double glazing is excellent and so keeps out most noise. Except the daily 8 o'clock bell for mass nearby. But all part of the experience!!
