Soaps don't smell good...

Accessibility to the mall and being located in PJ it was quite convenient!

Initially I was assigned room P-18-32 (or 36) can’t really remember. When I checked in there was a rancid smell in the toilet and I assumed it was because the u bend got the toilet might have dried up so I flushed the toilet and ran some water down the drains to see if it cleared up. I didn’t spend much of my first day in the room, only coming back at night to sleep. On the second day I went in to the toilet to freshen up and noticed cockroaches on my toothbrush and all over the floor! It was honestly disgusting and I spoke to the staff about it who said they would look into it. The problem still persisted over the next three days and I was even told that “so the only problem I have with the room are cockroaches!?” The staff were very standoffish and didn’t seem keen to help or make arrangements until I threatened to go to booking.com with the complaint after which they relocated me to a different room P-18-08 which I admit was definitely much cleaner and in better condition and didn’t come across any roaches or pests there. Overall I was initially disappointed and frustrated with the lack of customer service and duty of care by the staff and them trying to gaslight me into suggesting they follow stand hygiene practices and to imply that I should have reported it earlier, I suggest management looks into proper pest control possibly drain cleaning and proper mitigation of the issue because I’d hate for something like this to further affect your overall score. Pleased with the end result but it shouldn’t have to take a guest having to threaten escalation to have something resolved like pests and bugs in a room.
