Charming Riverside Studio - Stork 41

Really happy with this stay. The room was clean and well kept, and the central Zurich location is perfect for getting around on foot. The elevator made arriving and leaving effortless. What stood out most was the host — very attentive, clear instructions, and he messaged me every day so I never had to wonder about anything. 10/10 from me.

The location was brilliant- such a surprise to be surrounded by beautiful cobblestone roads and gorgeous buildings. The river was at our doorstep. Thank you for including a fan in the room’s amenities as well as a fridge.

A bit more floor space for bags would have been great.

The location of the room was very good

We experienced several problems during our stay. When we arrived, the internet was not working. The alternative networks we were told to use also had very weak signals. As a result, we completed our stay without Wi-Fi. A technician visit was offered, but this issue should have been solved without requiring access to the room during our stay. There was no air conditioning in the room, so we had to keep the window open because of the heat. Because of this, there were insects and spiders in the room. There was no shampoo or shower gel provided. When we asked about it, we were told that these items were not supplied, so we had to buy them ourselves. The building key and the room key were the same. This was concerning from a security point of view. The room layout was different from the photos. It was also quite small. There was only a thin curtain on the window. Previous reviews had mentioned this issue as well, but it has not been fixed. At the end of our stay, we received a message asking us to give a score of 10. The average rating on the website may therefore be misleading.
