Charming Riverside Studio - Stork 41

Its location is perfect! Close to everything.

-I know I not usually hot in Zurich, but they need to begin to o have air conditioning. - unfortunately for us elevator didn’t work and we were in the 4th floor, which made it difficult. -Maybe some shutters for privacy, since the buildings are to close each other we can see and others can see our room.

The location is amazing, the appartment very comfortable with a nice view and all the necessities. A little gem :)

- Easy and flexible check-in. - Nice and accommodating host that responds quickly. - Lovely location. - Had most amenities. - Overall it was pretty clean.

- Plates and cups weren't cleaned well. Plates had crumbs on them and the cups and plates had sticker residue on the sides or in the bottom. - Internet didn't work the first two days, and although we were offered to use a different one at that point, we had already been without it so long that we had had to buy more data instead. They were really helpful, it was just unfortunate that it took so long and that we weren't prepared better, so this doesn't impact the rating for us. - Windows and walls were very thin. - There were only thin curtains, so the sun would blind you in the entire room. Would have been nice with an option to block it out or at least dampen it a bit. - There is no place to sit and eat. Could have done without the TV and TV stand, and have a small table or chair instead. - Kettle, but no coffee or tea. - Fridge would turn off in the middle of the night, so we had to plug it in a different power outlet. It started working again before we left, but we generally had an issue with the power outlets that would stop working, and none of our chargers could fit in the extensions. - Host would respond in German half the time and told us he wanted only a 10-star review despite knowing the stay didn't go perfectly as planned. We were asked to be fair and we think we have, but this really didn't sit well with us.

The location of the room was very good

We experienced several problems during our stay. When we arrived, the internet was not working. The alternative networks we were told to use also had very weak signals. As a result, we completed our stay without Wi-Fi. A technician visit was offered, but this issue should have been solved without requiring access to the room during our stay. There was no air conditioning in the room, so we had to keep the window open because of the heat. Because of this, there were insects and spiders in the room. There was no shampoo or shower gel provided. When we asked about it, we were told that these items were not supplied, so we had to buy them ourselves. The building key and the room key were the same. This was concerning from a security point of view. The room layout was different from the photos. It was also quite small. There was only a thin curtain on the window. Previous reviews had mentioned this issue as well, but it has not been fixed. At the end of our stay, we received a message asking us to give a score of 10. The average rating on the website may therefore be misleading.
