Asante Guest House

The place where Asante is is a very quiet neighbourhood which is close to all what you need like dining areas. The Garden , the pool inside the room all is just amazing

The room was spacious and the breakfast was tasty. The property was quite secure and the room offered privacy and comfort. The bigger bed had an electric blanket. Very nice! Nice pool and garden area.

The male host was very moody. From the moment we arrived, we didn't feel very welcomed. The next day at breakfast he appeared extremely cross, even switching off the gas geyser while we were seated and eating. On the last day of our booking, he appeared to be angrier than all the other days. He really made our stay uncomfortable. It was as if our presence bothered him. Also, the gas heater in the room only had about 30min worth of gas in it!!! For the amount of money we paid and the lengthy stay that we had, we could've atleast been provided with enough gas and a smile!!!

Hosts Gideon and Marelaine were amazing and went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. The unit was clean and neat, with all necessary amenities.

The property does look good. The only thing is they charge the same price for two different rooms which are not of the same standard. example the pool side room is more spacious, modern with a couch too. The other room is smaller with no couch.

The manager made us very uncomfortable by approaching us and being rude towards us on the first night. The owners live on the property and are forever in your face. I felt that the owner is racist in his manner of approach, speaking to us as if we are school children. I lodged a complaint with booking.com. The next morning he apologised to us. Although I accepted the apology obviously our entire stay was very uncomfortable from there onwards.
