Our hosts were so helpful from the moment we booked, and we even arrived to a selection of local treats they had left for us (as well as surprise easter chocolates, we felt so spoilt!). The house was impeccably clean and in excellent condition. We also really liked being close to Ponta da Sol beach - we were in a great location to drive down in the evenings to swim and watch the sunset, and there are lovely restaurants there for dinner.

The house had everything we needed for our stay. There was all the basic kitchen equipment. Special thank you for the coffee machine. It was also great that we could wash our clothes, and there was an iron and a hairdryer. The grocery shop was very close, just around the corner. We also loved the sweet moment with the resident cats, one of them even came to visit us, which was very cute. If you are visiting Madeira and have a car, this is an ideal place to stay. It’s perfect for enjoying a quieter, more rural part of the island. At the same time, it’s a great base for visiting all the main tourist spots.
