Peak Lodge

We had an absolutely great stay at Peak Lodge Kandy, the owners treated us with such great hospitality throughout our time. The dinner tasted great and the included breakfast exceeded our expectations fully. The owner always went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable as possible and fulfil our needs such as reserving tickets for the Perahera festival and setting us up with a driver for the day to show us around Kandy. Peak Lodge was a big highlight on why our experience in Kandy was so memorable and we would absolutely recommend to anyone visiting Kandy!

Przestronny pokój, czystość, dużo szuflad i szafa co było rzadko spotykane w innych hotelach

Ein großes schönes Haus am Berg mit Zimmern auf zwei Etagen. Im Zimmer selbst gibt es keinen Stuhl und keine Sitzmöglichkeit. Das findet sich vor den Räumen in einer Art Wohnzimmer für alle. Hier geht es auch zu einem kleinen Terrassengang nach draußen.

Leider gibt es in dem Vorraum keinen Ventilator und keinen Moskitoschutz. Im Zimmer gibt es einen Wasserkocher, aber keine Tasse oder Teebeutel. Auch eine Flasche Wasser, wie sonst meist üblich, gab es nicht. Das wirkt etwas lieblos und wenig durchdacht. Ich war offensichtlich der einzige Gast. Die Gastgeber/ Bewohner habe ich kaum zu Gesicht bekommen. Das war etwas anonym und einsam. Nachts war es mir zu kalt; das schmale dünne Tuch zum Zudecken war nicht ausreichend. Die Internetverbindung ist sehr schlecht.
