Rude, Unapologetic, and Moved at Midnight: Avoid This Place
My experience at this property was extremely disappointing. I was originally placed in an ensuite room, but when I returned from meeting friends at around 11:30 p.m., the owner greeted me with a sarcastic “You’re early.” He then informed me—without any prior notice—that he had reassigned my room to someone else and moved me to a much smaller room with a bathroom out on the landing. Even worse, he had taken all my belongings and transferred them to the new room without asking or informing me, which I found completely unacceptable. When I told him that my passport was still locked in the original room, he refused to retrieve it and made me wait until the next morning. I spent the entire night anxious and unable to sleep, worried about something as important as my passport. Despite the stress this caused, he offered no apology and became defensive when I questioned why I had been placed in one room only to have it taken away. The new room itself was also disappointing—the TV barely worked, and the owner made no effort at all to fix it. Over my three-night stay, I wasn’t provided with any clean towels, and the owner’s attitude remained consistently rude, dismissive, and unapologetic. Based on my experience, I would strongly advise against staying at this property.

Not good for non-smokers and very overpriced.
The host was lovely and breakfast was good. On-street parking at front of house.
This is purely an objective opinion based solely on the accommodation facilities. This is BUDGET accommodation at a PREMIUM price. Upon arrival, the smell of stale cigarette smoke throughout the house was overwhelming!!! The room was twin beds although booking.com. info said double room with 1 bed. Very bare and dated furnishings, no tea and coffee facilities. The shower had good pressure but needed a very good clean. Only hand soap provided in bathroom. Dublin town centre is a good 20 minute drive away, bus stop 10 minute walk from house, then 20-30 minutes by bus.

Very comfortable stay in a lovely, homely property
Good choice of types of breakfast items, served very nicely. Cleanliness of the room etc second to none and the B&B situated in a lovely quiet setting. Also the host was very considerate in bringing hot tea up on arrival - excellent for weary travellers. Edward was most gentlemanly - I would absolutely stay again.
A very lovely traditional Irish breakfast was served, but perhaps maybe the addition of a tomato and a choice of coffee would be optimal for those who like that sort of thing.

Edward was very nice and cooked a really good breakfast. Shower was nice and hot Home was very clean. Quiet neighborhood had a very nice Pub restaurant and a Stone Fire Pizza place right next to the pub.
