Overall, a very enjoyable stay which I would fully recommend to anyone looking for a comfortable, well equipped and well

The property was exceptionally clean, the beds and sofas were very comfortable, the heating and hot water were excellent and the location was great for the stadium and city centre

The only drawbacks were the top left bedroom didn’t have a curtain or blind on the window and there were no hand towels or bath mats in the bathrooms

House has potential to be great, but badly let down by lack of maintenance and unresponsive host

Great location for access to motorway, public transport, and nearby countryside. Also handy supermarkets nearby. House was spacious and had private parking. Double beds were very comfy (but Single beds were not so much!)

Ground floor toilet blocked and marked 'not in use'. No instructions in the house on how to use heating and wifi (and wrong password repeatedly provided when requested from the host - took until second day to resolve). Two legs broken off sofa, making it lopsided and uncomfortable/unsafe. Bulb missing from the only lamp in the lounge. No curtains in the twin bedroom - broken curtain rail and screwed up curtain were in the corner of the room. Inadequate cutlery - only 2 forks in a house for 6 people. Bags of rubbish and dog poo lying in the garden just outside the rear door. None of the maintenance issues were addressed despite me raising them on arrival and providing photos. I also got a very stressful phone call on the second morning of my stay wanting to know why I hadn't checked out... but my booking was for 3 days and they hadn't checked their records properly before calling me. All in all a disappointing experience in what could be a great house if the host carried out some basic maintenance and provided/repaired missing and broken equipment

Arrived early evening in the dark. . No electricity in downstairs portion of house fridge/freezer off. No access to garage where presumably electric fuse board housed. Rang mobile number provided by host it was false. Rang booking.com who did precisely nothing.

Space in the property, and location were very good

When we first got there. No sockets were working. After contacting the host through Booking.com, we were told that the fuse box was in the bottom floor of the house in a cupboard. It wasn’t, we finally found it in the garage. We then found that there was no Wi-fi which meant the we couldn’t watch anything on TV. After an 8 hour drive, I just wanted a shower, but the towels smelled musty and damp so I had to find a launderette and wash them. There were burn marks in the living room carpet and one of the sheets. There was no cleaning equipment. I had to ask for a dustpan and brush as there was none, or a hoover. No curtains in living room or kitchen. Very dirty windows. Was contacted through text messages regarding the electrics, and explained about the Wi-fi etc. When I didn’t get a reply about the Wi-Fi, I emailed again through Booking.com. Was then told that I had not told them about the issues, when I explained that I had messaged, was told that I should have only contacted them through the website. Very disappointed with the customer service. One of the specific services I look for when travelling with my son (who is autistic) is Wi-Fi.
