Dar Bonita

Usually we don't rate 10 any structure, but, in this case, the staff really convinced us to give a 10! The structure is cute, located in the middle of the medina, at the end of a closed street, from outside you can't imagine what you would have found inside, a peaceful riad, clean and tidy, with a small refreshing swimming pool, and a nice terrace. Breakfast is generous, sweet and savory, cooked by two nice ladies. As said, the staff is the real plus, always available, day and night, with numerous suggestions and hints for us! We asked for changing the room, getting a new room as soon as possible, we asked for laundry and they supported us bringing themselves our stuff in the laundry, we left the riad before standard breakfast time for an excursion, and they prepared a box for us, to no lose the breakfast. The two guys and the two ladies made the difference in our experience, and they really deserved a 10!

Privacy is not the typical characteristic of a riad, and the rooms on the ground floor are not the best in the riad, especially in the morning, with people having breakfast in front of the room. Fortunately we were able to change room after the second night.

The riad arranged for transportation from the airport . A young man met our driver with a cart for our luggage and then brought us to Dar Bonita. This was important because I don't think we would have found the location on our own. We had just been in Marrakech the week before for five nights but in walking to Dar Bonita we walked through areas we hadn't seen before, that's how big and convoluted the passageways can be. We were excited to check out this new area. Our room was very inviting and well appointed. The facility was beautiful to look at, clean and welcoming. Even though the staff that greeted us did not speak English she was welcoming and able to show us to our room. The breakfast was tasty and filling. I especially appreciated the small thermos with coffee and one with warm milk. (I'm not a huge tea drinker.) We were especially appreciative of the assistance we received at 5:15am to bring our bags out to the square where the prearranged taxi came to pick us up for the airport. What a fantastic Riad. All the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, but a special mention to Abdul and Hamou who were amazing during our stay. The riad brings a sense of calm to an initially chaotic city! Great location, within a 5 minute walk to Jemaa al-Fna square. Lovely breakfast each morning, in traditional Moroccan style.

The Riad is really beautiful and has the perfect location, in the middle of the medina and 5-10min to the Jemaa-el-Fnaa. The staff was very kind and helpful in every way we could ask them everything and they immediately answered. The breakfast was also a 10/10 and the perfect start for the day - the rooftop were useable for 24/7 and the rooms itself were absolutely beautiful would recommend this for everyone. Hamoud and Abdel were amazing 👏🏼

The only thing that wasn’t working were the umbrellas on the rooftop but i guess that’s repairable 😊
