Nieuwe ervaring om op een boot te slapen. Het was heel stil snachts. Er was een klein fijn kacheltje. Eigenaar afwezig maar behulpzaam en bereikbaar op afstand. Er waren (plastic) rozenblaadjes gestrooid voor valentijnsdag, wat ik kon waarderen.

Geen werkende lamp op de badkamer. Rook naar luchtverfrisser spray. Geen toiletpapier, geen afvalbak of zak.

Staying on a boat was a very special experience, especially for people who have never done it before. The marina is beautiful, with many boats around, and the waterfront area is pleasant, with plenty of restaurants nearby. The location is also practical: restaurants are about 1 minute away, the bus stop is around 5 minutes on foot, and the connection to the city is good, even though the center of Lisbon is about 40 minutes away by public transport. Inside the boat, the kitchen is well equipped and includes a kettle, a bread toaster, a sandwich toaster, an electric stove, a microwave, and dishes. Most of the kitchen equipment was in working condition, although the dishes themselves need to be renewed.

First of all, we had an unfortunate situation on arrival. We landed at 10 PM, and we were met by a colleague of the owner who did not leave us the marina access card. He told us that a lady would come in the morning and give it to us. We were very hungry after the trip and thought that after check-in we would be able to go out and buy food, but instead we were locked inside the marina. Fortunately, we managed to contact the owner quickly and he told us where to get the card, but it was already late at night and it was not comfortable to walk around other boats in the dark looking for it. As for the rest, the boat was very dirty and definitely needs a thorough vacuum cleaning. The overall feeling was that everything around us was dusty and unclean. The bedding, mattress, and pillows need to be replaced, which would already make the space feel much fresher. The carpets were extremely dirty and stained, and it did not feel possible to walk barefoot there. The outdoor sofa could also be cleaned much more carefully. It is actually a very nice place to sit in the evening, have dinner, and enjoy the view of the marina and the lights along the waterfront, but it was unpleasant to sit on such a dirty sofa. As other reviews already mentioned, the boat cannot really be locked securely: there are only two door latches, but no real key lock. Also, there is no water on the boat, which makes it impossible to wash dishes or use the shower. There are showers and toilets in the marina, and they work, although they are not in ideal condition. There is also a sign asking people not to wash dishes there, so in practice there is nowhere to wash them. The condition of the dishes was especially unpleasant. I did not even want to touch the cutlery because it was rusty and wet from stagnant water. The frying pans were not properly cleaned, and both the pans and the cutlery were placed on a rusty shelf, with rust falling directly onto them. That was honestly disgusting.
