It is a simple village flat, there is a fireplace inside that you can use and it makes a specific smell inside (some people will like it, some not). The wifi was good, but bear in mind that the average for Cyprus in 2026 is like 2015 in Spain or Italy.
You are close to Paphos, but in a small village.
The cat may like you, especially when you cook.
The oranges from the orange tree outside were good.
When we got there, we needed to ask for towels and a few things in the kitchen to be able to cook and eat. After that, it was ok.
The front yard could be a bit cleaner.

Exceptional value and location for a given price. Marathunta village is much picturesque, its image of stone roads and walls is charming.
AC and kitchen appliances are modern and work as expected.
There was a broken bathroom door hard to close. Also there is an everlasting smoke smell from a fireplace, not disturbing but distinguished and slightly absorbed by clothes. Some kitchenware missing, like pan.
