Paradise Escape w Pool & Garden

We had a very pleasant stay at Paradise Escape for the three of us in January 2026. House: A cozy house. It’s not new, but everything is well maintained and in good condition. There was an issue with the gas stove, but the hosts bought a new induction stove for us the same day, which we really appreciated as we prepared breakfast for our child every morning. The bathroom was recently renovated, clean, and comfortable. The rooms are nice, the beds are very comfortable, and mosquito nets are installed on all windows. One of the reasons we chose this place was the pool. It’s not very big, but clean and comfortable, and it was a great alternative to going to the beach, especially for cooling down. Hosts: Misty and Michel are wonderful hosts. They have plenty of travel experience themselves and clearly understand common travelers’ needs and questions. They provided a very well-prepared guidebook with activities around the island, shared a helpful Google Maps list of restaurants, helped us arrange car rental at a very reasonable price, and recommended a great massage center nearby, which we used several times during our stay. It was very handy to have a can of ground coffee (which we pleasantly finished with using coffee-machine), refreshing bathroom set and pack of fresh water bottles on our arrival. They were always available in WhatsUp with any our question like parking in a new location or better place to go. Area: If you are a party lover, this area is probably not for you — which is exactly why we chose it. There are no crowds, clubs, or nightlife. The area is quiet and relaxed. At the same time, just around the corner there are three restaurants (two Thai and one Italian), several massage places, two local convenience stores, and car/bike rentals. On the nearby main road, there are also a 7-Eleven and a mini Big C. Beach: The beach is not very large, but it’s charming, with palm trees hanging right over the sea that provide nice natural shade.

House: Each room has a clothes rail, but we missed having a wardrobe or some enclosed storage for clothes. Beach: No fresh water to wash body from the salt water and feet before walking back home, but it seems to be a common thing in Koh Samui
