The room was very clean, warm and homely.
Our host, Marie, is a lovely lady. Very helpful and responsive. Lovely cooked breakfast. Perfectly located with parking, to explore Windermere. We would definitely come back.

Breakfast was very nice, bacon, egg, toast, hash brown, tomato, beans and tomato. A teapot and orange juice and a actimel yoghurt. A better breakfast than I have at my own house 😁
Location is great, in the middle of Windermere town center, a few min walk to the bus/train station and has some parking spaces.
Room had a kettle, cups and condiments, TV and a fridge. Ensuite bathroom was very nice and the room was nice and warm. Bedding was very clean and very soft with comfortable duvet.
The bed was a tad firmer than I'm used to and the fridge was a little loud (but easily turned off)

Close to the station and tourist information center. Easy to walk or take buses to other towns.
Room not warm enough. Bathroom is too small and the other room smells.
