Achnerhof

We used this accommodation in Anger as a base for visiting Salzburg and Königssee. The location was very convenient for reaching these places by car. The apartment was part of a large farmhouse and was very spacious. It had been completely renovated, and everything inside was extremely clean, new, and well maintained. It honestly felt as if we were the first guests to use many of the items. The family runs a large farm. We did not have much chance to spend time with them, but whenever we met them, they were very friendly and welcoming. This is a very comfortable and pleasant place to stay, especially for families traveling by car. The only thing to keep in mind is that the farm is located a little outside the village. At night, the surroundings are very quiet and dark, which may feel a bit unsettling at first if you are used to staying in town or city areas. Overall, it was a very clean, spacious, newly renovated, and peaceful stay. We would definitely recommend it as a base for exploring Salzburg, Königssee, and the surrounding area.
