Traveller Ark Hotel & Bunks

This wasn't my first time solo traveling or staying in a hostel with bunk beds, and I had a really pleasant experience here. All of the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. They were always happy to assist me and explained everything clearly during check-in, making the whole process smooth and easy. The location is also very safe and super convenient, with easy access to many places around the city. I stayed in a 6-bed dorm (three bunk beds) and got the bottom bunk, which I actually preferred. Since the room didn't have a window, the lighting came entirely from the room lights and the ventilation relied on the air conditioning. However, I only stayed for two nights, so it wasn't an issue for me at all. After showering, I returned my used towel to the reception and they kindly replaced it with a fresh one, which I really appreciated. It also helped keep the room feeling fresh. My roommates were all respectful and friendly, making my stay even more comfortable. One small thing to note for Muslim travelers is that I didn't notice a dedicated space for praying. I wasn't praying during my stay, so I didn't ask the staff whether they have a prayer room or not. Overall, I had a great stay and would definitely recommend this place to other travelers. Also, if you happen to meet a staff member named Farah, she's incredibly kind and welcoming. She made me feel very comfortable throughout my stay!

Overall it was a nice stay. The bed was clean and comfortable. There was no sign of bugs, dust or stain. The room was quite spacious, and there even is a toilet in the room so we can have our own privacy. There are showers and washrooms in the lobby too. The staff were really helpful and friendly! But the hotel is located ON Petaling Street, so if you are not the type that likes crowded places, this may make you feel uncomfortable. Nevertheless, it was not loud at all, and they provide a rooftop to enjoy such beautiful scenery. Totally worth staying.

I stayed at Traveller Ark from 26 June to 2 July 2026, and it was a wonderful experience overall. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making me feel at home from the moment I arrived. I especially loved the ambience in the lobby, where staff and regular guests would often gather and hang out. The atmosphere was warm, relaxed, and filled with positive vibes. One of the things that makes this inn unique is its strong sense of community—travellers are welcome to participate in the in-house events organised by the hostel, making it easy to meet new people and create memorable experiences. The only downside was that some of the facilities were quite run down. However, considering the affordable price point, I found it to be perfectly acceptable. Overall, I would definitely recommend Traveller Ark to anyone looking for a friendly, community-driven place to stay. It’s also conveniently located right beside a bustling street filled with a wide variety of great food, making it an excellent choice for travellers.

If you are looking for a place that's clean, safe, chill vibe and excellent walkability, look no further, this is it. Friendly staffs, coffee at the lobby was good, the barista knows his stuff well. The guy is constantly getting feedbacks from the guests, goes to show the management is committed and serious about the business, and that's impressive. Just a kind suggestion, a few toilet seats are loose, and attention to details needed for the edges and corners. Other than that, no biggie. Well done guys, keep up the good work.
