I really enjoyed the hotel is very clean and heigenic and the staff is too good and food is also nice I prefer to visit the hotel and enjoy the city of lake view thanku so much to all the management

I booked this hotel in the last week of December. It's a hotel which is about 7 km away from the city center. You will get an auto rickshaw from online apps like *** but in Udaipur I haven't came across any auto rickshaw driver who charges the amount which is displayed in the app. They usually ask *** Rs higher. Sometimes if the location is a bit in a more crowded/packed area they may ask for *** Rs from this location. The prices in app show around *** rupees. This is not an issue of the hotel but I need to inform my fellow travellers regarding this because this is how things work in Udaipur. Now, let's talk about my experience I had called the hotel and told them that I'll be checking in late night to which they agreed and said that there won't be any issue. So I checked in late after 12 AM there was a guy who helped me check-in and they have great facilities like lift/elevator and decent rooms because they recently renovated. So I found the rooms clean. As soon as we entered our room the reception person helped us with RO water, and showering utilites after we asked him to. Then we saw the room, it wasn't like 10/10 clean but they did a good job. I found out the kettle wasn't cleaned thoroughly and the toilet wasn't clean fully because I saw some stains but it wasn't that bad. However, as I said since it was recently renovated most of the things were clean. One thing to note is that there were no tea bags. I asked the reception person regarding the timings of food service. He said it will start 8:30 AM in the morning. Next morning, I called them regarding the same but guess what no one picked up at the reception. The guy who was taking care was sleeping in the morning. I went down to check and found out there was no one at the reception, he was sleeping elsewhere. Then I went to their restaurant which is adjacent to the reception. The guy in there said that he might be sleeping upstairs. Anyway I asked the restaurant guy to get me some tea and breakfast but he said that he won't be able to serve this in our room because that service is apparently not applicable for our rooms which was a bit weird and a first timer for me. But, he did provide me the food to my room which was a nice gesture. He brought tea for my Grandpa and some breakfast which took a lot of time btw so the service can be slow in the mornings. So it took him around 1 hour 30 minutes to get the food. Now, during this time I had taken the number of the manager to complain to him regarding the situation. We also didn't have water in the morning to drink so I was angry with this. But after I contacted him he helped so I got the water, got the food and tea. I would also suggest contacting the manager in case you face any issues. A few things I wanted to highlight regarding the room is that the TV wasn't getting connected to WI-FI, other rooms may be empty so you might feel that you're alone on the floor so it depends on your preference. I didn't really care because I was there to travel the city but I thought of highlighting this. Let's move on to the food. I really enjoyed this. Most of the food on the menu is Gujarati food. After the first incident I didn't order food in the room. I directly went to their restaurant along with my Grandfather. Their service was amazing there. The difference is they have a box with 9 different types of pickles on every table which would be hard for them to bring upstairs. They really look out for you and check if you need anything actively. One time I went there for dinner, they legit gave us 6 different types of salad at no additional cost and the veggies were fresh. Beets, cabbage, carrot, cucumber, radish. Hell Ya! I was impressed by this. This really shows their hospitality. Now if you don't prefer Gujarati food, it might not be a good option for you but I really didn't know much about Gujarati food and I loved it here. It's not really the food per say but it's about the style that they make it in. For example

We booked a stay which was discontinued by the owner but agoda did not remove that from the website and took the bookings and did not inform us or provided the money to the stay owner and later after hours of argument gave us 2 options of hotels to choose from . Although we did not like any options but we choose the lesser bad one and got stuck with basic room where flush was not working , tap was broken, room service was not there, after asking the tea was served in paper cups in the room . Agoda told us it will be a super deluxe room but did not look like one and was smelly so the hotel person gave us one family room instead of 2 separate rooms bcoz we were not feeling safe . Overall everything about this was bad and they was not at all worth it. I will never recommend Agoda to anyone . The compensation provided by agoda was just like a paint on broken wall. It did not help was at all.
