This was my first time booking through Agoda, and while the property looked modern and recently renovated, the stay ended up being a mix of highs and lows.
Pros:
• Updated, comfortable room with a nice duvet, mini fridge, and a TV with Netflix.
• Shared lounge had great amenities like a coffee machine, books & games, filtered water, ice, microwave, utensils, and extra towels.
• Bathroom is a small wet-room setup but they provide both room and shower slippers, plus shampoo, conditioner, and body wash.
• Convenient location with a market, food vendors, a 24-hour laundromat, and an easy walk to the train station.
• Common areas were clean and well maintained.
Cons:
• No bed sheets, only a mattress cover and duvet, and the 2 pillows for 2 adults didn’t have protective covers.
• Room stayed warm even after staff adjusted the temperature, possibly due to heated flooring.
• Very limited natural light from a single small window.
• Check-in codes weren’t sent to multiple guests, and with no onsite staff, resolving it was difficult bc we had foreign phones.
• Not ideal for tall guests; low bathroom door frame and compact room layout.
• Long staircase with no elevator and thin walls.
Overall, the place has good potential thanks to its new modern feel and location, but the lack of proper bedding and operational issues would make me think twice before booking again. If I'm going solo, it wouldn't be a problem but with tall people, it was tough.
