Wasabi House Gangnam

The lady cleaning the hostel is rude. I understood there are no early check in. I came 2 hours before check in to store my luggage and quickly use the toilet. I was kicked out for using the toilet and told to come back at check in. Explained I just used the toilet after a long flight and a long bus to the city. I was already planning on getting food and killing time shopping before check in anyway. Never felt unwelcomed in a hostel before. The place is cheap so can’t complain. The place could use more cleansing. The bathroom is gross and the pile of dirty towels are just piling up by the laundry basket….its always seem to be full despite the constant running on laundry.

The host is rude. Heavily watches guests to ensure no guests checking out stays after 11am or check in before 4pm. She will literally kick you out. I see her cleaning but the common areas are always dirty especially the bathrooms. The outlets in the rooms are falling apart, some outlets don’t work or are coming out of the walls. Apparently you can use the laundry but that’s not really the case as it’s always running to wash towels and sheets… there’s always piles of dirty towels and sheets in the floor in the washroom area despite the washer/dryer being in constant use. Apparently there’s a locker to store belongings but it’s very small, could only fit a small purse. Possibly just for small valuables. Larger luggage’s are being kept by guest in the common areas as rooms are small especially if all the beds are occupied in the door room. The room doesn’t have good ventilation. Only good thing is the location close to all restaurants shops clinics. Walking distance to Gangnam, metro, bus stations.

位置稍微有点难找，但是整体环境不错，其他旅客也会自觉保持安静，卫生淋浴间稍微有点旧，一起进出不太方便，其他整体都不错~

It is so guest friendly that it's not..!! Very strict rules for guests which is a good thing but even though non of the guests need it u still need to turn of the lights can't use common room which is already very small and can't do basically anything after 11 pm. The white girl who works there need to chill a little bit. When u reach before the check in time she asks you to just drop the bags and leave immediately she didn't even allow to use the restroom. I turn on the room lights at 11 pm and she immediately came and turned it off and said its not allowed while no one in my room was sleeping or even in the room? What kind of rules are we following when it benefits no one? The common area is very small only 4 ppl can use at a time. The location is not that great either. I won't stay here even if it's free!!
