KEI HOTEL LIKE RESIDENCE

This hotel is located in residential area with a combini around the street corner. The closest subway station is approx 6 mins walk and 17 mins to a bus station. Checking in the hotel was a little tricky. We didn't receive the check-in email with key entry info and we need to call the customer support from main entrance when we arrive with the iPad they provide at main lobby. The customer support was prompt and helpful but you have to disclose all your personal information at the entrance to the public because you speaking on speaker phone. There was another group of people checking in at same time also have the same problem as ours, and we were like helping each other and again exchanging our information involuntary. . The unit basically has everything we need except no dryer or clothes lines or hangers to hang up the laundry after the wash. Overall, for the price $***/night at that location, it's quite pricey. We paid $*** per night in Tokyo and $*** per night in Osaka at similar ABNB just before we arrived Hakata. This one is the most expensive and offers almost the same features. I guess it's the peak season because the same dates we looked everywhere, this hotel is the most reasonable priced at the time we requested. Anyway we would recommend this place and will probably come back again.

The hotel is about a 16–20 minute walk from Hakata Station, and there is a bus stop nearby. There is also a 24-hour supermarket right next to the hotel, which is very convenient. I really appreciated that the bathroom has a drying mode, so I could dry laundry every day. The room size was perfect for us, and the bed was very comfortable. I hope the hotel can provide an English-translated manual for using the heater, bathroom drying mode, and washing machine. I used Google Translate, but having printed instructions (showing which buttons to press) would be very helpful. We are a family of 2 adults and 3 kids, and we really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The only small issue was the check-in process. The check-in message through the Agoda app was not very clear, even after using Google Translate. However, there is a QR code to contact the staff, and they responded very quickly, so it was not a problem in the end.
