    I believe i had the worst experience at this property from check-in till checkout. Guest has to go through muddy terrain and cross 4 other properties to reach this property. We visited in group of 3 couple. Despite informing, Manager sent 1 guy for helping with luggage and was egoistic on complaining about unprofessional conduct. Most of the times there was no food order taken during normal hours. No explaination, simple no. Electricity fault at night before checkout was never looked into and we were simply told electricion isn't available. Despite deficiency at property, on much effort in demanding for hot water supply for bathing, only 1 room at other block was provided to 3 families where geyser was functional. Never visiting this property again in my life time. P.S. - managed to take photos of dirty towels with gravy or some blood spots provided to us.

    I stayed three nights at Heaven in Himalayas in Rishikesh, and unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. From the start, service was extremely lacking. It felt like only two or three people were running the entire property, and it showed. When we arrived, there was no toilet paper in the room and only one towel for two guests, which is below basic expectations. The room also wasn’t cleaned properly—there was even a cigarette left on the bathroom floor. When I called to request toilet paper, I was told it would take “two minutes.” Hours later, nothing had arrived, and we had to go down to reception ourselves to get it. Staff were generally not warm or polite, and on checkout, no one offered help with luggage, despite the hotel being down a not well maintained path and up a hill. At minimum, assistance should be offered. Power outages were a major issue. The electricity went out at least 25 times, often with long delays before the backup generator was turned on. This caused Wi-Fi outages and prevented me from taking an important call—an extremely frustrating and avoidable problem. I also experienced a misplaced side pouch bag, and when I mentioned it, the response was dismissive. I was told I should have reported it earlier, even though I hadn’t noticed until later. That response was disappointing and lacked basic customer care. To be fair, the food was decent—the dal and naan were good, and breakfast, while very limited, was acceptable. The location is great, which is the main positive. That said, for the price, this place missed the mark in almost every way. Poor planning, inconsistent service, frequent power issues, and a lack of hospitality made this an unpleasant stay. I genuinely don’t understand the glowing reviews and found the experience did not match them at all. I would not recommend staying here. I hope management seriously improves service, staffing, and overall guest care, because with better planning, this property could be much better than it currently is.
