Stylish Manhattan Escape in Prime Spot

The location, minimalism, and size. Very well equipped without being cluttered. A fabulous apartment - modern, spacious, sunny, cozy. Had Windows covering one wall facing the street, which was lively to watch. I liked that the towels were layed out in each bedroom. The kitchen, although a gallery, had all the staples and appliances for cooking just like home. Really a found for New York City and really any city. I’ve been in hotels, time shares, homes, apartments and condos and the Manhattan Escape was one of the best.

Comfortable and reasonably sized space. Beds are great. Kitchen is functionally stocked with cookware, etc. Living space is generous for a flat in Manhattan. Location is absolutely fabulous. Interesting and available neighborhood with super easy access to the 6 train. Couldn't be happier about the location.

The place is clearly showing wear and tear. The bathroom sink has significant cracks (no leaks), while there are noticeably loose wall tiles and grout/caulk mold staining. Same is true of the bathroom ceiling. The AC/Return vents are badly in need of being cleaned and repainted. There was noticeable dust on the return air grille and filter. There are also no additional amenities - no coffee or anything else in the kitchen & half used bottles of Suave shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in the bathroom. You would hope at these prices for a little bit more. It's a great place, but it's going to need an update soon or it's not going to be great much longer.

We had a lovely stay in the apartment. It was clean, had a beautiful aesthetic, and was close to everything we needed. There are many good restaurants around and right next to the metro stop. Very easy to get around the city. After a long day was nice to go back to the apartment and relax. The beds were very comfortable and we loved the bed sheets.

This is out of the owner's control, but the city gets a little noise at night. When anyone enters through the front door, it slams, and you can hear it in the house. They did have their own supply of earplugs at the apartment. I would still recommend staying here.
