Fairlight 2-Bed Apartment Steps from the Beach

Location & views of harbour were excellent. Beds & pillows were super comfy. Great little apartment had everything to offer us. Easy 15 minute walk down to Manly Corso, Manly Beach, Manly Ferry Harbour, Restaurants,and a great little handy beach with ocean baths for swimming a 1min walk. Close to Bote Cafe too, which was delightful.

The location in Manly is great, no faults. The sea view is also very nice, in wet days allowing you to enjoy your meal (if you're eating at home) with great views.

The property was comfortable overall, but a few practical details made the stay more challenging than expected. Many of the dishes needed to be washed before use, and there was no dishwashing liquid available for hand-washing. There were also no paper towels and no suitable place to hang wet clothes. Parking information was particularly confusing. Parkhound (option provided by property manager) suggested a space more than an hour away, and the instructions from property management advised unlimited street parking, but the surrounding area clearly has 2-hour limits (unless a permit holder-and guests are NOT privy to a parking permit). For travellers not familiar with Sydney’s parking rules, this was difficult and frustrating to navigate, especially since we received no response from property management over the weekend despite numerous attempts. With clearer communication and a few small additions, the stay could be much smoother for future guests.
