Almost Sanibel - Fort Myers Duplex Near Sanibel Island

quiet area, good deal, clean

water doesn't get cold, but typical for area? parking a little tight as we unexpectedly had a truck for a rental.

The property was absolutely beautiful. The plants outside made it feel very tropical. The house itself has everything you’d need. The property is in the perfect location if you plan to spend lots of time in Sanibel, just right down the road from the causeway.

We came to Sanibel/Fort Myers area specifically for shelling for my birthday. We found a really amazing rare shell, that went missing from the sun room when it was drying the day after we found it. No idea where it went but we know that neither me nor my partner took it out of the house. That was the only disappointing part of the whole stay.

Great location. Close to Sanibel and stores on Ft. Myers side. Quiet neighborhood. The 2/1 was clean and comfortable with all necessary items to cook with. We met the nice host and spoke with her on checkout day as their live next door. Our stay was very pleasant and plan to come back again.

The motion lights in the front of the house did not work so it was quite dark at night if you need to go to the car or when coming back home. Not their fault- they have well water which we didn’t care for; however there is a water filter for drinking water in the kitchen but we bought drinking water.

The apartment was spacious, the kitchen was stocked well, a propane grill was available outside, and the property has lots of interesting trees and plants.

The water had a bad smell toward the end of the trip and the water pressure was unstable. I had to go buy water to use because it smelled of rotten eggs, which I assumed was sulphur. I told the host, he said he would add salt to clear it up. The smell did not clear up before leaving. I was sent check in instructions for the wrong apartment which created a lot of confusion and resulted in Booking canceling my reservation after already being there for three days. I explained to the host what happened but he questioned everything I told him as if he didn't believe me and made the inconvenience more difficult and annoying.
