I can’t fault the apartment itself. It is fantastic, beautifully designed, and extremely comfortable. The attention to detail is impressive, with plenty of amenities provided. The towels, robes, and bed were all exceptionally comfortable, adding to the overall feel. The windows opening onto the balcony are a standout feature, allowing plenty of light in while keeping the apartment perfectly quiet, virtually no outside noise comes through. It’s also a lovely touch to have the apartment cleaned daily. As a tiny suggestion , it would have been great to have some basic cooking essentials available, such as salt, pepper, for guests who might want to prepare a meal.

The listing on Booking.com indicated that the deposit payment could be made by credit card, but we were later informed that a bank transfer was required instead. The staff were quite inflexible on this point. This would have been helpful to know in advance, as international bank transfers may incur additional bank fees, whereas paying by credit card, depending on the card, may not involve any extra charges. To be fair, the deposit was returned within the stipulated timeframe. The parking wasn’t as easy to find in the vicinity as mentioned in the reviews, the listing, or by the staff (maybe that’s because we were there at the beginning of the high season). It took us over 35 minutes one day to find a parking spot relatively close to the apartment. When prompted, the staff mentioned that it is usually easy to find parking and that the only other solution would be to park in a paid parking area about a 10-minute walk from the apartment (roughly €30 per night, if I’m not mistaken). Throughout our stay, parking was never particularly easy to find. It wasn’t a case of having plenty of available spaces to choose from, usually, we would only come across one or two spots after driving around for a bit. Be mindful of that, specially if traveling during summer season. One more thing that still relates to parking, which we were only informed of once we checked in, is that once a week (maybe it’s just during summer?) there is a market on one of the main streets where parking can usually be found. Therefore, during that day (and the night before, as the parking restrictions start overnight), no cars can be parked on that street, which further complicates parking. Also, although the location is pretty central if you have a car, it’s still a good 10–15 minute walk to get to the Monopoli historic centre, so just be mindful of that. Based on the listing, we thought it was a bit closer.

Very good and polite cleaning staff - that always did their best to make the appartment clean. In the Easter suite you had everything: bath tub, ice cube machine, big shower and 2 terraces. And the location is where the locals live, very authentic and close to the beaches like Lido Pantano. Overall - 10/10!

Having to do an international bank transfer to pay a deposit. Booking.com said this was payable via credit card so a bit inconvenient to set up.
