Casa no cimo do Douro

The house facilities were excellent, the kitchen has everything you need to cook a meal and it all worked perfectly the lounge is large a spacious with comfortable L shaped sette, the biggest WOW factor is the picture window looking over the valley and Ragua, it was fantastic day and night, watching the village's light up as dusk fall was really quit tranquil to watch, bedroom was large and bed very comfortable. Externally, you have a grill by the kitchen door and a good sized heated pool around the other side. The hosts are really good, friendly, and quick to answer any issues you may have or something you don't quite understand. You also have vans we got the bread and fruit & veg van great for produce and for trying my very poor Portuguese which always gets a smile, don't know if there is a fish van, didn't see one when we were at home, may have come when we were out, neighbours are really nice as well, although communication was mainly pointing and smiling. In Ragua you have 3 supermarkets a Lidl we never went to, a Continente which is excellent and a Pingo which wasn't to bad. The parking on the property is great large enough to easily fit two cars. What you may struggle with. Bearing in mind I am from the UK wrong side of road, wrong side of car, car bigger than I usually drive. The road up from Ragua! Well from Continente TomTom went native on me and took me on some very steep, very narrow roads with some awkward corners, I didn't like it at all, I have driven Portuguese rural roads for around 15 years, but these were tight, however, there is an easier route. You go through Ragua heading Continente at the roundabout R.de Tondela instead of turning right onto R.de Lousada toward Continente you take the 2nd exit instead which puts you on the EM601 stay on it for about 7 min (3.9km) you come to a small roundabout you turn right 1st exit onto EM600, follow this road for 9 mins (4.9km) until you reach R.

Absolutely nothing. We liked it that much we booked a second visit next summer.

Piscina, decoração do interior, alpendre com uma vista fantástica, tanto de dia como de noite.

Tinha poucos cobertores, poucas almofadas, e não tinha t TV nos quartos .
