Zentrumsnah und trotzdem ruhig gelegen. Ich hatte wirklich absolut nichts zu bemängeln. Der Vermieter hat mich sogar zum Friedhof gefahren, sodass ich nicht auf den Bus oder Taxi angewiesen war. Das ist doch auch nicht selbstverständlich.

Het appartement was ruim en netjes. De eigenaar woonde erboven, was vriendelijk en altijd te bereiken. Weinig verkeer in de straat. Fijn dat er rolluiken waren. Handig ook dat we bij het appartement konden parkeren. De oprit was erg smal, maar na enige oefening lukte het toch om er ongeschonden uit te komen. Het appartement lag niet ver van het station, en zo'n 12 minuten lopen vanuit het centrum van Andernach. REWE (supermarkt) in de buurt.
We misten een waterkoker, houten lepels, opscheplepels en pannenonderzetters. De vaatwasser leek dichtgeplakt te zitten, maar bij navraag bleek hij erg stroef open te gaan. Gelukkig konden we deze vanaf de tweede dag wel gebruiken. De tuin was dor (wel te begrijpen gezien de zeer warme en droge zomer), met nogal wat onkruid tussen te tegels. Niet zo erg bijgehouden dus.
