The flat is lovely, decor and rooms are good and the aircon was really useful. It had a well stocked kitchen and the views from the balcony were beautiful
We really struggled getting hold of the host. We had to pick a specific one hour slot to arrive during for the host, and when we arrived it took half an hour for him to answer us so it's lucky we had the car and hadn't arrived by taxi. When he came to give us the keys he asked when we wanted to check out, he said it needed to be by 10/11 and we agreed. On the day, we were ready by 9:30 but he was at church and said he wouldn't be available until around 10:30, this wasn't communicated to us initially so we had already told our housesitters when we would be home. The electrics also kept tripping in the kitchen which made cooking difficult.

We had such a wonderful stay at The Pearl at the Winelands. The apartment was beautiful and had absolutely everything we needed. Thoughtful touches like a clothing horse, great kitchen supplies, and full-length mirrors made it feel incredibly comfortable and practical. The balcony was brilliant and a lovely place to relax.
The beds were super comfortable, exactly what we needed after busy days exploring and attending a wedding. I also have to mention the hairdryer, which was excellent (something I always notice and really appreciate!).
The location couldn’t have been better, literally around the corner from cafés, shops, restaurants, and bars. It was such a great area to stay in that we honestly said we could imagine living there. Parking also worked perfectly: our friend’s car was safe on the street while we used the secure parking inside.
A special thank you to our host, Rudy, who was a lovely gentleman and incredibly kind. He really saved us when we forgot our washing and didn’t realise until we had already arrived back in Cape Town. Thank you, Rudy, we truly appreciated your help!

Fully equipped and i mean FULLY EQUIPPED. Had everything one would need to live there not just stay there for a few days. Its very central, one has a 100mtr walk to the main St.
As a base for the wine area its ideally situated. Private secure parkkng. Stayed 4 njghts and cant fault the place. Could do with double glazing to keep the noise out but dont see that happenkng in the Cape Very realistically priced. cant be faulted. Kitchen is equiped and i mean 1st class Doubt i will go back to Paarl, but if i did this would be top of my list to stay. Its not kn a 5 star area but we walked out for dinner every night and walked home late at night. Rudy is a perfecy host 5 star.
My only gripe was the noise from early morning traffic. And from the school near bye. But if your on the wine tour it getyou up early Very early Traffice noise starts around 06:00 school kids around 7:00

Location good. Balcony south facing which was pleasant.
Some small details like lack of coat hangers. TV not set up for regular viewing. Not shown some aspects of entry and exit to block of flats. Not clear map instructions re building name not mentioned and as lack of numbers on other buildings confusing. Think host is not too interested ……..
