Heerlijke rustige locatie met mooi uitzicht. Gezellig ingericht en alles was aanwezig. Zeer vriendelijke eigenaar, vloeiend Engels, reageerde super snel, deed ook ter plaatse extra moeite: super!
Het lag wel afgelegen met weinig faciliteiten in de buurt (restautants en supermarkt), maar we hebben op 40 min lopen/6 min. rijden een heel gezellig Okonomiyaki restautant gevonden en heerlijk gegeten.

Très belle maison traditionnelle.
Tout à fait conforme à la description, le lieu est charmant, très propre, bien équipé et très agréable pour une famille.
C'est plus qu'un logement c'est une expérience de vie à la japonaise.
Le propriétaire est très accueillant et maîtrise l'anglais ce qui est très agréable à l'arrivée et pour recevoir des conseils pendant le séjour.
Nous y retournerons avec plaisir !

The cottage was so clean, well laid out and beautiful in a traditional Japanese style. It had all the facilities for us to cook a meal for ourselves and then watch a film! Tak was so great - very easy and quick to communicate with and he kindly picked us up from the Kumano Kodo and drove us to a supermarket on the way to the accommodation. He also dropped us off on the trail in the morning. The accommodation was so quiet and we had a brilliant night’s sleep.

From the booking process until our stay, everything was handled very well. Communication was excellent, including the free pick-up service from Kumano Hongu Taisha, the ride to the supermarket for groceries, and the clear explanation about the beautiful and clean cottage.
After walking for 11 hours from Chikatsuyu, we truly found a wonderful and comfortable place to rest in this cottage. The facilities were very complete, and Tak’s hospitality was exceptional.
The next morning, we were picked up right on time and dropped off back at Kumano Hongu Taisha, which made our journey even more convenient and stress-free.
Highly recommended, and we will definitely stay here again in the future.
There was honestly nothing we disliked about our stay.
