About this house rental
Welcome to your comfortable home-away-from-home! This private walk-out basement suite offers a clean, cozy retreat with modern touches and easy access to downtown Seattle and the city’s best attractions. Getting around is simple—walk a short block to a bus that takes you straight downtown, or enjoy a favorite café nearby. You’ll be close to the water, Lincoln Park’s scenic waterfront trails, and Alki Beach, the sandy crown jewel of West Seattle. Perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring.
The space features:
Two queen beds with comfortable bedding
A newly renovated bathroom with modern finishes
A functional kitchen area equipped with a hot plate, microwave, and fridge
In-suite laundry for your convenience
Fast Wi-Fi and a spacious living room relaxed, quiet atmosphere
Don't be surprised about the low ceilings— it is a basement after all!
Guest access
Guests will have uninhibited access to the basement and patio outside of the entrance. Guests will NOT have access to the upstairs and should not attempt to go upstairs. This will be occupied by a tenant.
Guests will receive a 4-digit code they can use to unlock the door for the duration of their stay.
Other things to note
The backyard will be under going construction throughout the winter but that should not at all inhibit guest's access to the patio or entrance to the unit. The construction will not start for many months.
The general ceiling height is about 80–82 inches, with a few lower clearance spots. Taller guests should watch their heads in the bedroom and laundry room.

The accommodations were spacious and comfortable. We were able to walk to parks and food. The neighborhood was eclectic, safe, and convenient. We really appreciated the comfortable mattresses and the great water pressure in the shower!

This was our second time staying at this West Seattle suite, and it was just as awesome as the first! The place was clean and comfortable, and the renovated bathroom with the rainfall shower is a total highlight. The location is a big reason we came back. It's nice and quiet but still close to everything. We walked to The Birdhouse for coffee and breakfast, and getting downtown for a Mariners game was easy. My husband was working remotely and had no issues with the Wi-Fi. We also loved strolling around the neighborhood and down to Lincoln Park. The hosts were great again, really responsive and helpful. The suite has everything you need: comfy bed, kitchenette & in-unit laundry!
