About this apartment rental
This is a 1949 Shasta trailer that is permanently mounted and restored with a large deck overlooking the Chisos Mountains. It has a gas grill with side burner located on the deck. It is co-located with our other casita Casa De Aero also listed.
The space
This casita has a separate driveway accessible from HWY 170. It has a separate shower house just outside the bedroom door. It has a closed indoor shower and an adjacent private outdoor shower with a view of the mountains. We are located approximately 7 miles from the west entrance to Big Bend National Park and one mile from the Terlingua ghost town. The Casita is cozy for 2 or may sleep 2 adults in separate beds or max 2 couples if you know each other well. The main bed is a double and the sleeper couch is also double size. The views are breathtaking from the deck. Terlingua offers great restaurants, coffee shops, grocery stores and entertainment. Check out the state park also. We offer wifi, city water and advice on the best places to see. We are co-located with Casa de Aero if you are booking with other parties. Please note that the address listed here on will take you to the ghost town 1.5 miles away. Please follow the directions you will receive when you book.

Alex and Betsy were so nice and the property is cute, homey, clean, and good vibes. Location is good to visit Terligua, Lajitas, and Big Bend National Park. If you want to just visit Big Bend it is a little bit of a drive 40 mins to get into the hikes. There are grocery store near by and restaurants too. During hotter days the AC unit at the living room doesn’t get cold but the bedroom AC was helpful to keep the temperature good. Just cover the window by the kitchen sink and you should be good. Cooking outside while it rained was such a good vibes.

Such a beautiful and cozy stay with great views. Clean and stocked with all the necessary amenities. Very close to Big Bend national park. Alex and Betsy were quick to respond to our questions and requests. Such amazing people. Thank you, again.

Great location for going to Big Bend National Park! A little farther than the 10 minutes due to road construction, but you won't get much closer! Super cute! Had all of the amenities we needed. The shower was awesome! The heat and a/c worked perfect as we had weird weather where one day it got really cold and the next hot. Definitely will be back!
