Conveniently located just 34 miles from Terlingua Ghost Town and 32 miles from an entrance to Big Bend National Park, Black Cat Ranch offers easy access to adventure, while maintaining the solitude and tranquility of a remote desert retreat. This eco-friendly cabin was designed with sustainability and comfort in mind.
The cabin features a full bath with stand-up shower and all the essentials, a Sleep Number queen bed, and a pull-out couch to accommodate two additional guests. The kitchenette is well-equipped with a refrigerator/freezer, Keurig coffee maker, toaster, microwave, dishes, and utensils. Dishes are washed in the shed and the water used for a 30 gal. pond. Enjoy cooking on the two-burner gas cooktop or grill located on the porch. A propane firepit is provided for cozy evenings on the porch, and a traditional firepit is also available, though please note that wood fire use may be restricted during a county-wide burn ban. A mini-split wall unit offers both A/C and heat for year-round comfort. Stay connected with Starlink high-speed internet, ensuring you can work or stream during your stay.
