Mountain Apartment - Includes Access to the Water Park

Bring the whole family to this wonderful place with plenty of room for fun. A lovely two-story apartment with many great features. There are plenty of sleeping arrangements, including two triple bunk beds, and ample space around both the living room and dining table. The apartment is fully equipped, including toys and games. There is underfloor heating throughout the first floor, a spacious hallway, and a small outdoor porch. Free on-site parking and good internet. Smart TV in the loft, and cable TV with standard Norwegian channels on the first floor.

The apartment is located right next to fantastic hiking opportunities, year-round. In spring, summer, and fall, there are beautiful marked hiking and biking trails. Some are right by the apartment, and several are in and around downtown Hovden. In winter, there are great cross-country ski trails starting almost right outside the apartment, and it’s less than a 5-minute drive to the Hovden Ski Center. In downtown Hovden, you’ll find grocery stores, cafes, a sports store, and a liquor store. There’s also a water park and a cultural center.

NOTE! Included in the rental price is free admission to the water park for four people, at least two of whom must be under 18.

The apartment is located approximately 200 km from both the Kristiansand ferry terminal and Kristiansand Airport (Kjevik). On the way to Hovden, take State Route 9 through picturesque Setesdal, which features many beautiful rest stops and charming villages. It’s also possible to arrive by bus, as there’s a bus stop 500 m from the apartment complex.

You’ll need to bring your own bedding and towels, and we trust that you’ll leave the apartment clean and tidy.
