Mountain View Retreat Near PA Grand Canyon

This house is 10/10. Just loved it! I would like to say Yes there is no TV but who needs one anyway! Not one person complain about no TV. It gave us time to actually have family time. Interact with each other. I loved the open environment of the house and my husband (which is a contractor) was asking if I was getting ideas for our own home he is planning on building soon. . Love how the basement was lay out for entertainment for kids and adults. Bedrooms was big and comfortable. Again, not one person complain about how they sleep. I was excepting to hear something along the lines of the 3 little bears story but nope!Kitchen...man there isnt enough words to put in how gorgeous the kitchen is set up. It has Gas stove ( im not expert on gas stoves) but I did fine. I didnt burn anything LOL. I did love the fact there is washer and dryer to use to wash laundry before you leave. No need to take home smelly clothes. I did leave a few things behind in the kitchen for whoever wants to make homemade cookies. Either the owners or the next set of people staying. Now, I was little surprised when we arrived that there is oil rig station I'm going to call it close by. You really cant hear it either. Now Im a very light sleeper and I can hear needle drop in the middle of the night. So, if I can sleep thru that. Its quiet. Oh, YES there are LOTS of deer in the evening on that road to the house. One night we counted over 200. We will be coming back to this place again soon. Thank yo

This place was very gorgeous. It was very clean. I rented this place out to surprise my girlfriend and propose to her at Barbour rock. The shower was phenomenal and all of the amenities were great. Any questions I had were answered quickly from the host. I would stay here again!

There was no TV. It had been removed and replaced with a picture of a bible quote. Luckily my father had a small TV that my family could borrow for the weekend, so we transported it back and forth. There was also no grill, even though one was listed. Communication was also lacking. I didn't initially get a message about the house access code and had to message the host the day of check-in and then it took several hours to get a message back. I initially offered to buy a new TV and set it up, but didn't hear back until 6 hours after I messaged the host. The house was great otherwise. The living space was nicely set up (if there was a TV). The kitchen was nice. It is near a gas well, but I was surprised how little noise there was from that. 3 stars for a nice place, but the listing was inaccurate and the communication was lacking.
