Shepheard Hut 2, a single-storey holiday hut, consists of a studio-style living space including a kitchenette with fridge, kettle, toaster, microwave, freezer, and 2-ring hob, a dining area with seating, and a sitting area with Smart TV. The bedroom is a double, serviced by a shower room with walk-in shower, basin, heated towel rail and WC. Outside, there is a front patio area with furniture and off-road parking for two cars. Shop 2.4 miles, pub 2.5 miles. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen, and towels are included in the rent. One well-behaved pet welcome, but sorry, no smoking. Enjoy a quaint escape for two at Shepheard Hut 2. Note: There is a restaurant/bar for guests next door, but is closed Mondays and Tuesdays. Note: Adults only. Town: The ancient town and former royal burgh of Forfar nestles in the beautiful rolling farmland of Angus on Scotland’s east coast. A traditional market town, Forfar holds a monthly farmers’ market, showcasing the best of the local agricultural produce. Forfar nestles close to the Angus Glens and the spectacular scenery of Strathmore. There is much to see and do in the surrounding area here. Regal Glamis Castle is nearby, the coastal town of Arbroath is only 15 miles away with its beaches and cliffs, while just 14 miles away is Carnoustie with its famous golf links. With the Cairngorms National Park to the north and Edinburgh less than two hours’ drive to the south, there is much to discover and enjoy in this beautiful area of Scotland.
