I stayed here for 3 nights in early October with 2 friends. The apartment takes the whole of the top floor of the owners home. It has one large bedroom with another double bed and a sofa bed in the living room. The apartment was spotless and had fantastic views over the bay. We were lucky enough to see the Northern Lights above the apartment on our last night.
The apartment is located in the final row of houses in Lerwick and it's a 30/40 minutes walk into the town centre. That didn't bother us though.

Pleasant location on the city edge, which was fine if you have a car as we did, and there's easy parking. Good views, pleasant hosts, and spacious rooms. Good heating and ventilation.
It was great to have a kitchenette. I think a coffee plunger, and some salt and pepper would be good! And for some reason it was really hard to get the hot water hot enough to do dishes well, or to have a bath - barely Ok for a shower. I think the hosts may have it turned down low for the safety of their children.

A beautiful place in a quieter area with a gorgeous view. It was very comfortable and the communication was great. A great base to see Shetland!
A washing machine would have been great, but it didnt impact our stay :)
