Lack of cooking facilities

From the minute you enter the apartment is fresh, light and airy with a modern homely feel & the views are just stunning. There is a well equipped breakfast room with a microwave and toaster if you fancied something warm. The beds and sofas were very comfy. The host greets you on arrival and gives a warm welcome which just added to the wonderful experience of Lerwick. Lerwick centre/harbour is only a few minutes by car with ample things to do & places to eat.

The view was stunning and Debbi (the host) was very kind and friendly. I couldn't have wished for a better place to stay. I particularly liked the scent free bedding as I have a flu like reaction to some scents. There is a smart TV in the main room/2nd bedroom so logging into Netflix and Prime was easy and entertaining in the evening. There was a microwave, toaster, fridge, and kettle, an air fryer would be a great addition. There are a few steps up to the back door to access the apartment and more steps inside leading to the top floor so this isn't suitable for people with difficulties climbing stairs or wheelchair users. Overall, this is a very nice place to stay.

Limited cooking options (not a problem if you intend eating out)

Excellent property and good value for money. Debbie met us as planned on our arrival and was the perfect host. We will be back :-)

We had a few issues using booking.com. It seemed our messages and didn't reach the host. This issue was quickly resolved when we spoke to Debbie.
