- There was a huge supply of clean towels and toothbrushes available. - The location is close to the Chiba Station. - The owner replied fast on Booking chat when we needed to ask something (we couldn't find the kitchen at first) - The photos on Booking were accurate , we weren't expecting luxury for the price but "staying over at grandma's house" kind of stay. Still the negatives surprised us. - While the bathroom sink was a mess, the shower+ bath part was clean with plenty of toiletries available.

- Our check-in was on Friday 15:00. When we arrived the place wasn't clean enough - the sink in the bathroom was dirty (photo), there were black hairs on the floor of our room (photo) and we even found black hair in the beds. During the weekend other guests came while we were away and when we came back, the bathroom was suddenly much cleaner than when we arrived on Friday. It looks like they didn't bother to clean properly before our check-in. - The toilet on 2F had a textile cover on the seat - that's so nasty and unhygienic! It also didn't have soap for hand washing, when we messaged the owner we got a reply that the soap wasn't needed because there is running water - unhygienic again, you need to wash your hands with soap after using the toilet!! - The beds were really uncomfortable. I wasn't expecting much because of the low price, but the mattress was so thin it was like laying on the floor. We spent three nights there and I wasn't able to sleep properly each night because of how uncomfortable the bed was. The location is close to station, which was great, but there are also many night clubs and karaoke nearby - there was constant noise during the night. The noise isn't the owner's fault, but they should warn future guests beforehand or provide earplugs. - There was no lock or at least "occupied" sign on the shared bathroom. If somebody didn't knock or you didn't hear them it was easy to get walked on while changing/showering. I think shared bathrooms should come with at least a flippable "occupied" sign, because not everyone has good manners.
