I like the location and the living room area, which is centrally air-conditioned and perfectly designed with ample space. The interior design of the living room is good. The caretaker was extremely helpful, polite, and gentle in responding to our every request. He was very supportive and attentive to our needs.

One of the AC vents in the living room was not working, and there was no TV, so the senior citizens in our group couldn’t even watch the news during our stay. We also noticed a lot of dust throughout the property, which caused itching and discomfort. The bedsheets, pillow covers, and other linens were dusty, and mosquitoes disturbed us throughout the night. There were no basic toiletries such as toothpaste and toothbrushes provided. We were also not allowed to wear slippers inside the house; in that case, they could have at least provided disposable slippers for guests or informed us about this rule before booking. Also, the travel partner coordinating with us on behalf of Bhadram’s owner kept insisting that we pay an advance amount (one-fourth of the total), even though the property listing clearly mentioned “No Prepayment Required” and “Free Cancellation.” The lady who called to confirm the booking spoke rather rudely and insisted that we pay the amount in advance before the check-in date. They also have a non-refundable policy as the booking date approaches. If they intend to enforce such policies that don’t align with Booking.com’s terms, then it’s unclear why they list the property on this platform. It felt like they were more focused on money rather than providing good service. Their customer service was very disappointing. Even before the arrival date, they asked for our Aadhaar details, saying it had to be uploaded to the tourism department. However, such information is typically collected only upon check-in at the property. The stay could have been extremely pleasant if the house had been properly maintained with better housekeeping. Unfortunately, the entire property was covered in dust, and the toilets were not cleaned properly. Basic cleanliness and attention to guest comfort would have made a huge difference.
